Be collected by your driver right at the door of your apartment or in the lobby of your hotel. Your drive will take you to your private, air-conditioned vehicle and take you to the world-famous archaeological site of Pompeii. Your local expert guide will give you a guided tour of these amazingly preserved ruins.
Next stop is the picturesque seaside town of Positano. As you approach the town descending from the coastal mountains, you will begin to see the quaint houses that were incredibly built along the hillside, overlooking the endless Mediterranean See. Here you will have some free time for sightseeing, photographs and to stroll among the boutique stores. The local artists here paint for most of the year and sell their original masterpieces in the summer, so if you decide to make a purchase, you are guaranteed a one-of-a-kind work of art to adorn your home! The local limoncello liqueur is also popular with visitors. You can also use your free time here too visit the beautiful Church of Santa Maria Assunta, or simply people-watch from a restaurant terrace.
After some free time and lunch (own expense) in Pompeii, the tour will continue further south along the picturesque seaside roads of the Amalfi Coast where your breath will be taken away by the spectacular coastlines as the mountains cascade into the sea and romantic villages climb up the mountains like grapevines.
